Adelaide, Australia

Named after english Queen Adelaide and once inhabitated by the Aboriginal tribe of Kaurna, this town is the most populated of South Australia State and has a shoreline on the Indian Ocean's Gulf St Vincent.

In this Proba CHRIS image it is possible to see the International Airport as a green field south of the river Torrens' mouth, and slightly north-east of it is the city center surrounded and crossed by some green parks and gardens.
